Bantayan Island of Cebu

Bantayan Island is one of the most beautiful island located in upper part of Cebu Province, Philippines. The island is compose with three municipalities of the province of Cebu which are the Bantayan, Sta. Fe and Madridejos.

The Bantayan is the largest municipality of the island covering the central part, while the Madridejos the know for this fishing village in the northern portion of the island. The Santa Fe is in the eastern part where they are known for the beautiful beach of the fine white sand and beautiful sunrise.

The island is sometimes dubbed as the "Little Boracay of Cebu" where a long wide stretch of white sand. 

The nearest commercial airport of the island is the Mactan Cebu International Airport. From the airport take a four hour ride to Hagnaya Port. You can rent a van with driver for around 4500 Pesos per way which can accommodate up to 14 persons.   Roro from Hagnayan Port to Santa Fe will take you about a hour the the paradise.

Getting around the island, try the tricycle and the motorbikes. It is the main mode of transportation around the island with a minimum fare of ten pesos per ride P10. Jeepney, multicabs and bus that goes for Santa Fe , Bantayan and Madridejos are limited. You can also rent a motorcycle just near the Pier in Santa Fe or go for an adventure ride of an ATV  or the all-terrain vehicle for rent near the beach.
